French Immersion Celebration Week 2017

Once again in 2017, to celebrate our volunteers and the successes of French Immersion in BC & Yukon, Canadian Parents for French BC & Yukon is pleased to announce that the week of January 30 – February 5, 2017, will officially be recognized as French Immersion Celebration Week by both the Government of British Columbia and the Government of Yukon.

During this week of celebration, CPF members will be organizing events across the province. Students and their families are invited to celebrate and share their achievements in French Immersion programs. French Immersion Celebration Week aims for inclusion: the ability to speak French or being enrolled in French Immersion are not requirements to enjoy the celebrations!

CHAPTERS: Celebrate your volunteers! CPF BC & Yukon will reimburse chapters up to $100 for appreciation activities hosted for your volunteers. These events, initiatives or gifts cannot include alcoholic beverages, tobacco or travel and must occur between February 1st and 28th. When your event is over, scan and email all your receipts to our outreach officer, along with your completed activity summary using this templatePhotos are always welcomed and stories may appear in our newsletters.
