A good speaker uses gestures naturally and spontaneously to emphasize his or her points. Please remember that this is not a drama competition. Simply put, gestures must be kept to a minimum. It is not necessary for the head and hands to remain completely motionless, but gestures must be natural and spontaneous, as opposed to dramatic.
Costume, support material and props are not permitted and result in an immediate disqualification. Students should not be taking the role of a “Character.”
