• National AGM 2018 - Halifax

    Set Sail for Opportunities will be the theme of the 2018 CPF AGM & Conference in Halifax, set to take place October 18-21, 2018 at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

    The 2018 Conference will be unforgettable!
    • Participate in 2 days of top-notch speakers and hands-on workshops (CPF volunteer and membership support, French-as-second-language education and advocacy issues)
    • Enjoy hospitality and entertainment at CPF social reception events, capped off at the President’s Banquet, celebrating this year’s CPF Volunteer Award recipient
    • Attend the launch of the State of FSL Education in Canada Report 2018, networking meetings as well as the CPF National Annual General Meeting
      Each chapter is allotted one (1) sponsored chapter delegate. If you would like to send an additional delegate from your chapter, please make a note in the Registration Form and the Branch office will try to accommodate on a waitlist basis.
    CPF BC & YK believes this is one of the most important skill and leadership development opportunities afforded to our chapters each year. As such, as a special one-time offer we have lowered the per chapter delegate registration fee to $350! This includes air-transportation, hotel accommodation, meals (Thursday evening – Sunday morning) and registration fees. Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM): The Branch AGM in Halifax Saturday October 20th Noon – 1pm.  The AGM is open to all CPF BC & YK members in good standing.  Members will also be able to join the CPF BC & Yukon AGM via teleconference.

  • Regional Conference - Vancouver Island

      CPF BC & Yukon has created the Regional Conference to bring together chapter representatives within the local region to collaborate, to address common areas of struggle, and to provide Chapter volunteers support and strategic skill development. We want participants to walk away with ideas, strategies, and skills to best build and strengthen your local chapters, and your local French immersion programs. CPF BC & Yukon welcomed our Island Chapters to participate in our 2019 Regional Conference.
