Did you know that the Junior Achievement organization offers free programs in French to students in Grades 5-12 in BC? Find out more below.
Junior Achievement (JA) is the world’s largest not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating young people about business. We partner with educators, donors and volunteers to bring a real world experience into the classroom. Our programs give students the confidence and skills they need to become the next generation of business and community leaders.
In B.C, we offer a dynamic portfolio of FREE programs in English and French to students in grades 5-12 with a focus on financial literacy, business education, entrepreneurship and work readiness. All of our programs are delivered by wonderful volunteers from the local community, including bilingual speaking volunteers for our French programs. Volunteering to teach a JA program is an incredibly rewarding experience which allows you to both develop professionally, as well as positively impact and inspire young people!
If you are interested in becoming a Junior Achievement volunteer to deliver our French version programs (or you are an educator interested in having a JA French version program in your classroom), please contact Cheryl Borgmann; Regional Manager at [email protected] or 604.688.3887 ex. 226
