CPF BC & Yukon invites members to free Family Day Film Festival
Break out the popcorn and join Canadian Parents for French BC & Yukon for a French movie night on February 15th – B.C.’s Family Day holiday! Together with REEL Canada, CPF BC & Yukon will be screening two films for members, one at 3 p.m. PST, the other at 7 p.m. PST.

CPF BC & Yukon asks Province for plan to deal with remote learning for language programs
In an Aug. 21 statement, Canadian Parents for French BC & Yukon Executive Director Glyn Lewis asked Education decision makers to look at how remote learning would impact language learners. Provincial resources are thin for online French learners, while demand is growing. In August, CPF BC & Yukon received dozens of questions from parents about at-home learning accommodations for their students.
Branch AGM & Conference | Sept. 2020
CPF BC & Yukon is going online for this year’s Branch AGM & Conference, due to gathering and travel considerations around COVID-19. Instead of being a weekend-long event of workshops, meetings and networking events, the Branch will instead host a virtual mini conference on Friday, Sept. 18 and an AGM on Sept. 19.
Attendees must register with the Branch. All registrants will receive an email with the Zoom links 48 hours before the events.
