Pursuing postsecondary studies in French: Pourquoi pas?

Did you know that the Bursaries for Postsecondary Studies in French as a Second Language (FSL) Program aims to encourage young Canadians whose first official spoken language is English to study in French? Its goal: To help students entering their first year of college or university to perfect their bilingualism while studying in their field of interest. These non-renewable bursaries, each worth $3,000, are available in many colleges and universities across Canada.

It’s rewarding to be bilingual!

“My advice for young people who are hesitant to pursue postsecondary studies in French would be to take a risk and don’t look back! There are so many benefits, both professional and personal, of speaking a second language,” shares bursary recipient Jordyn White.

The Bursaries for Postsecondary Studies in FSL Program is funded by the Government of Canada and administered by the ACUFC.
