An annually elected Board of Directors guides CPF BC & Yukon’s vision and advocacy strategies. Our directors come from all walks of life – accountants, educators, entertainers, former politicians and more – but share common values: fostering and expanding a rich environment for French language learning in B.C. and Yukon schools. Our Board of Directors meets throughout the year to craft policy and respond to emerging advocacy needs in communities.

CPF BC & Yukon staff follow through on the wishes of the Board of Directors and membership to coordinate our keystone events and facilitate the day-to-day needs of our organization. Scroll down on this page to meet our Board team!

Vice President | Lucie Ferrari

Lucie Ferrari was born and grew up in France. Now, she considers herself a Canadian. As a French teacher who is passionate about public education, she is extremely aware of the successes and challenges of the French immersion and Francophone programs in B.C., and is aware of how hard it can be to find Francophone connections outside of Vancouver. She believes that any family and child in B.C. who desires or dreams to learn in French should have access to French immersion or Francophone education, no matter where they live in the province.
