Thanks to an Everyday Creativity Grant awarded by the City of Victoria, Canadian Parents for French – Saanich Chapter (CPF) has joined forces with local musicians and artists to offer virtual concerts online under the umbrella theme of Jazz in Spring: Latin French Lovers Virtual Music Concert Series.
With financial support from the City of Victoria, Canadian Parents for French Saanich Chapter will be bringing music to the masses in a five-show series, beginning on Valentine’s Day.
CPF Saanich will use a $5,000 grant from the City of Victoria to collaborate with a local jazz band, Noedy HD Jazz Band, to produce five virtual concerts and art creations, featuring different themes such as St. Valentine, Black History Month, Cuban Inspiration, French and Romantic Music (with one performer singing in French), and with one show featuring a local artist on stage with the jazz band – creating live before the online audience.
